Consolidating Various Blogs: Get Real Launches
Over this weekend, I will be consolidating two complementary blogs together. I have been writing Timing since last winter, and starting in August I began writing the Instant Messaging Industry Insider at Corante. It has been kind of schitzophrenic, trying to decide what sorts of things to put where.
The merged entity will be called Get Real, and will cover real-time and collaborative technologies, such as instant messaging, web conferencing, mobility solutions, and other emerging technologies that exploit real-time communications, such as social networking and advanced telephony.
Those who have set blogrolls or RSS aggregators to either Timing or Instant Messaging Industry Insider should redirect to Get Real. I plan to migrate as much of the Timing content to Get Real over the next week or so, and will keep Timing up for at least a few months so old links will still work.
